I have been co-teaching with Sallie Warnecke instructing teachers in our district on how to use iBooks Author. I have also been working with 5th grade students on how to create e-books using iBooks Author. I have had to find a way on how to easily create you-tube widgets in iBooks Author. Bookry is a great site for creating widgets that can be easily dragged into student projects.
What is Bookry?
Bookry is a complimentary service to iBooks Author. Sign up is free for education. Bookry allows a user to create interactive widgets for their text books. You choose a widget from the library, download, drag and drop the widget into your iBooks Author page, and update so that readers can see the latest version in the eBook. Bookry makes it so much easier to create widgets for iBooks Author projects. Stay tuned for my blog post of actual eBooks that have been created by elementary students using Bookry as a way of implementing widgets to help make their eBooks more interactive to readers.
