To Establish Behavioral Expectations:
- Improve general classroom and school climate
- Decrease dependence on reactive disciplinary practices (ODR’s)
- Maximize impact of instruction to affect academic achievement
- Improve behavioral supports for students with emotional and behavioral challenges
To Establish Behavioral Expectations:
- A small number of positively stated rules. Tell students what we want them to do, rather than telling them what we do not want them to do.
- Publicly post the rules
