iTunes - Finding Great Content Online

Picture
What comes to mind when you think of iTunes? Music? Apps? Did you know there is a lot of free content in iTunes? You can listen to or view a variety of free content on your computer or on a mobile device -- anything from music, videos, and TV shows to podcasts, audiobooks, and iTunes U courses.

To navigate through the content in the iTunes Store application, click on the icons for music, video, or TV. You can click on the ... to access podcasts, iTunes U, audiobooks, and more. While a lot of the music and video available on iTunes costs money, there are free resources available. For example, many of the National Geographic podcast episodes are free and include great video.

iTunes U was introduced in 2007. It is a premier repository for educational content produced by major universities, colleges, and now even K-12 entities. When you click on iTunes U in the iTunes Store menu, look for the links pictured here. Be sure to click on K-12 to find Canyons School District content.
