Kidblog is a great Web 2.0 tool for your classroom and it is free! Class and student accounts are easily created. Students do not need an email address. Student accounts are simple to access and use in this secure and safe online environment. What are you writing about? Put the assignment on Kidblog and watch kids respond, comment on each others ideas and ask questions. Students could journal about "Weekend News" or each student might create a math word problem (story problem) then have other students solve the problem by responding in Kidblog.
