Eastmont Avengers

2/19/2013

Mrs. Young's class at Eastmont Middle School, recently completed a video project where they applied the literary elements they were learning in class. During the unit on literary terms, students created a superhero themed movie with the elements of a plot.  They story boarded the ideas before starring in their film.  The students did most of the filming (using an iPad) while Mrs. Young completed the editing in iMovie.
Mrs. Young invited other classes to attend the mini-movie premier of the “Eastmont Avengers”.  Her classroom was decorated in movie motif and viewers got to much on popcorn as the watched  the finished product!  The students loved this project and are begging to do another one soon!
