Clothing Drive-PSA

1/9/2013

Mrs. Walker’s 2nd grade SALTA class has been working diligently to come up with a service project to help out their community.  They decided to gather clothes and donate them to the Road Home.  The students were excited to get the word out about their service project, and looked to find a new way of doing it.  As a class, they decided to create a PSA (Public Service Announcement)!

Mrs. Walker's class worked together to figure out what a PSA entailed.  Then, they broke up into small groups to create scripts and illustrate their narrations for their part.  The students had a blast while filming, and were excited to play the film back to see what improvements they could make before the next take.

The final product was a one minute PSA created on iMovie.  The students are grateful for any donations and are having a blast watching the contributions starting to pile up! If you would like to donate, learn how by watching their PSA!

Great Job Mrs. Walker’s Class!  Your class did an AMAZING job!
