An opportunity to respond is a teacher behavior that prompts a student response that provides evidence of engagement in the learning expectations. When tied to learning objectives, these opportunities result in positive behavioral and academic outcomes and give the teacher insight into the students' learning and understanding of the topic(s) being studied.

Kidspiration is a visual model of Inspiration instructional software that has concept mapping and visual learning devices for students K-3. Both can be used in all subject areas of math, science, social studies, and language arts. Kidspiration also has an auditory compnent.
