Educational Technology and the 21st Century Classroom

Why do we use technology?
"What if our schools weren't just preparation for real life? What if they WERE real life?" ~ Chris Lehmann, Principal, Philadelphia Science Leadership Academy

Below are a few videos to get you thinking about the need for technology.
  • "A Vision of K-12 Students Today"
  • "Pay Attention"
  • "Ellie's World"
Be positive about using technology with your students!

There is no "Beach Ball of Death". It is the "Spinning Wheel of Fortune". In other words, don't decide you're a magnet for technology trouble and there's no help for you. When you understand your computer better, you can manage issues and use technology successfully.  Have an "I can" attitude. Teachers should model technology use every day!
