Follet Destiny Library Manager

Destiny is an online catalog for the district's school libraries and the Instructional Support Center (IMC). Ordering media from any library in the District including the Canyons District Media Center is done through Destiny.  

The IMC has great videos to enhance any subject you teach. Math, science, history, social studies, and art are just a few of the subjects available on VHS or DVD. 
Step  by Step Instructions for Ordering Materials
  • Go to: http://destiny.canyonsdistrict.org/
  • Select your school FIRST (you should be on their list).
  • Your login is first.lastname .
  • To get your password contact Help Desk (801-826-5544) or 65544 from any school phone or ask your library/media assistants.
  • Go to "Catalog" to look for something in your local school library.
  • If you are ordering DVD's or other media from the Canyons District Media Center be sure to check the box with that title.
  • Type subject or title in the "Find" window and search.
  • Sort by type.
  • You can click on "Show All" at the bottom of the page or click through a number of pages.
  • Select "Details" next to the title to find out exactly what you are ordering.
  • Go to "Copies," and it will tell you what is available.
  • Select "Hold It" above the green arrow, and select the time you would like to have your order delivered.
  • If you want something delivered to you by the next day, request media by 3:00PM.

Destiny is the library manager system for books, textbooks, and other materials for students and teachers.  Destiny is also the system
