Assigning Activities on Pearson Successnet
Regular access to the Pearson Successnet website is encouraged for students. If given access to their accounts they can find their textbook, complete homework assignments, and practice concepts at home. In this page, teachers can find how to assign homework or other enrichment activities to students in their Math and Language Arts classes. See the document on assigning tests and other assignments on this page.
Assigning the proper testing window is critical to making sure that students complete assessments in the time provided AT SCHOOL. This can become an issue when students see all assignments on their Pearson Successnet accounts at home or at a time not supervised by their teacher. The assignment window can be edited in the teacher account. This documentation will show how a teacher can alter the access a student has to their assessments.
1. Students can access their text/homework assignments from home or at school
2. Parents can collaborate with teachers to reinforce concepts introduced at school
3. Teachers can easily gather data as students demonstrate understanding on easily executed online assessments
